My next top also OOP S5956. The fabric has been in stash for quite some time and I never really knew what to do with it because there was not even 1 1/2 yards of fabric. It was a piece I picked up probably from Joann's red tag section back before it became the place we'd always look for fabrics first (my daughter & I) when going to Joann's. Very quick and easy.
This is an up close view of draping on the front neck area of the top. When I described this top on the Month of Tops blog, I called it cowl neck. That just shows how old-school I am. LOL!
I had lots of fun participating in the Month of Tops Sew-A-Long thanks to Faye. Now to whip up a few bottoms for my tops!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING!
Your tops are great. It's been fun seeing the results of Fayes' sew along.
Love that beign (?) top. The fabric is beautiful. Nice sewing!
Pretty tops and so in love with S7013... I must find that pattern.... it is imperative...lol. I have a glittery taupe knit fabric that would work well with that pattern. Thanks... off to go in search of S7013.
Ohhhh.... how pretty!
Calling it a cowl neck is not dated, I call it a cowl neck too! Cute tops!
Cool post as for me. It would be great to read a bit more concerning that theme. Thanks for giving that info.
