Well hello! I've been so busy in the past two weeks! We had the church 50th anniversary which involved lots of preparation on my part. All came out very well!@ I went to Dallas, Tx for a Mary Kay convention. And this week, I'm babysitting!! Surprised to be able to post something, but that's because she's asleep!
I have a few photos of projects that I managed to complete. I didn't make a huge dent in my stash reduction and I even used new fabrics for these simple projects that I'll share maybe tomorrow in the spare moments I hope to have. LOL!
Anyway, it's been a hectic few weeks and now my daughter and son-in-law are relaxing on a cruise! I think that's where I should be! More later!

Cleaning out the Closet!
Ok, so finally I went to my bedroom closet and started taking things out that I don't wear! I didn't toss everything in the first sweep! LOL, but I'm going back to it again (maybe tonight). I really needed to do this and have procrastinated long enough and it really wasn't that hard to pick what I don't wear any longer (or can't LOL). Since I continue to sew new things, I need a place to put the new clothing and these things were just taking up space. Out with the old, in with the new!

Thanks for all the great comments on my top! I enjoyed working sewing this project. I had hoped to be a bit further in my stash reduction sewing, but I am happy where I am and look forward to getting a few more pieces done by the end of the month!
One more thing about this fabric print, I was going back through my blog postings from last year and came across what I originally thought I would make from that fabric. It was a dress! So glad I didn't! LOL!
I did not post about the new Vogue patterns because none had caught my fancy. But after looking again, I think I like these two 8524 & 1062.

McCalls 5625
I did not realize it has been almost two weeks since my last post. Things are still busy at work, but it's under control! LOL I made M5625. View A & C in a chiffon print received from my daughter that I've had for over a year. It was easy sewing but wasn't something you could just put together with your eyes closed.
The top has a neck band with gathers on the top front and back, with sleeve and length variations. I like the neckband of this top and the sleeves of view C are 3/4 length two-piece, with a gathered lower band. Will review on PR as this is a part of the stash reduction contest.
