I've Been Very Busy...

But no sewing. I thought I would be able to stay home yesterday and sew all day. At least that was the plan. I had to go in to work at the church yesterday. I've been working a few days with longer hours because of our church's annual activities that began last night with our choir's concert, and then today begins our gospel revival for a week. I made lots of arrangements for out of town guests, and then for setting up things here. Whooosh! So it's nice to see everything take place without a hitch! I'll be putting in some sewing time in this next week! Sewing helps me relax. I'll be taking a few days off soon. Yay!

Here are a few of the guests who enjoyed the pool at the party. Most everyone else was inside the house because it was soooo hot!! Today is supposed to go as high as 96. But we had a nice time.
