McCall's 5883 and OOP S5664

My first version of M5883
is complete and ready! I made this from stash fabric. It was easy to put together and I actually am making the other version in yellow. The top is a loose-fitting, pullover tunic with pleated front and self-fabric flowers. This is View A. View B of this top should be ready by tomorrow.

The skirt is also a stash fabric and was oh SO EASY! The color of the skirt brings out one of the colors in a top I made and posted about several weeks ago. This is a OOP by Simplicity 5664. A pull-on bias skirt. The skirt had only one pattern piece for both front and back! Super Easy!

I love the top. I love the color and the style. The flowers are great. The skirt looks like one that will be very practical. (One you can wear with lots of tops and all year round and dressed up or down.)
