I finally cut out the jacket of S3631. My sleeves will be like the coat though. Also, cut a skirt. Will finish up my previous project and I also have six pair of slacks to hem for my sister.

I had to put my other project aside so
I quickly made this top on Saturday night. It's from McCalls 4219. The fabric is a moleskin with a tiny bit of stretch to it. The skirt was already in my closet from last winter. This weekend was another cold blast, and I was trying to figure, what will I wear. This top was so easy to make. All I needed was thread and away I went. Wore it yesterday to church. The waist sash is a netting type of piece with fringe on both ends, and was received as a gift just last week! Can be worn around the waist or as a wrap around the shoulders (for summer in air conditioning, yeah a long way off!). Nice and warm was I, LOL! Tonight it's snowing!

Well, I don't know what happened here, but look, there are two of them! TWINS. If there is still someone out there that does not have this pattern, you ae welcome to my extra one. It's sized 14-16-18-20-22

This is my current project. The blouse is Vogue 1555 View B, and I believe it's an OOP. It's been in my pattern collection for quite awhile. The skirt is McCalls 5523 View A. Both patterns state that they're in the easy category. The fabric is a paisley jacquard print. Not sure of the exact content of the fabric, but it's been easy to work with. It's from the clearance section at my favorite Joann's. I just could not finish this weekend as envisioned. Too many things came up that took away from my sewing plans. More updates are on the way.

Evening Plans

Tonight, when I come back home, I will pin and also cut out (hopefully) a skirt and top. I have a meeting to attend. I want a new outfit by Sunday.(LOL) I will post later or tomorrow what patterns and fabric I plan to use.
